Hayabusa’s JOINTED SHOOTING BALL HEAD is a jointed football weight featuring a screw-type attachment component on the head, allowing it to be used with interchangeable offset hooks. Because the hook and head are not fixed together, it is easy to select a hook to match the size and shape of the soft bait, and the setup can be changed when replacing the soft bait without retying the line.
The football-shaped head is designed to help keep the hook pointed upward, making it easier to reduce snags when probing the bottom or areas around structure. Its swimming posture has also been carefully considered, allowing it to be retrieved without stopping while maintaining bottom contact, or drifted with the current. It can be paired with a wide range of soft baits, including shad-style, pin-tail, curly-tail, shad-tail, and hog-style baits, for applications ranging from horizontal swimming to bottom fishing. When using it, attach an offset hook to the screw-type attachment component and adjust the hook size to match the soft bait.
