Bandit Lures’ Series 100 is a shallow crankbait designed for targeting cover in shallow water. Within the Series 100 lineup, it is intended for areas with abundant brush, stumps, and shoreline cover. It features a compact, 2-inch, 1/4-ounce shad profile paired with a short bill, and its floating design runs at depths of 2 to 5 feet.
The internal rattle produces sound, while the wide wobbling action helps the lure attract attention. When it contacts cover such as rocks or wood, its design helps it deflect around obstacles. Bump the cover with the bill to redirect the lure over underwater obstacles, and when you feel it catch, stop retrieving and allow it to float up to help free it from the cover. It is well suited for working shallow flats, submerged brush, and areas around stumps while varying the retrieve speed and the intensity of cover contact. It comes equipped with two treble hooks from the factory; the listed specifications indicate size 6 hooks.
