The HMKL Spin FRY 30 combines the proven HMKL FRY with a spinning blade, adding blade flash and vibration while maintaining an extremely small profile. This tailspin jig has a 3.0 cm body excluding the blade, and weighs 2.0 g in a sinking configuration. Its compact, lightweight body is designed for patiently targeting fish.
The basic technique is a slow retrieve, allowing you to work the lure slowly through various depths. The blade spin mounted on the tail rotates, creating a presence distinct from the body’s small profile. In addition to retrieving the lure through a consistent depth, it also supports vertical presentations combined with a fall and is particularly effective on a curved fall. As a lightweight sinking lure, it can be allowed to sink to the desired depth after landing and then slowly retrieved, or worked by combining a fall with a retrieve to search different depths.
