HMKL’s ZAGGER is a minnow series developed to inherit the performance of the K-I Minnow as a silent small minnow while expanding the strike zone with a body shape resembling baitfish. It features a slim minnow profile and short lip, with a roll-dominant action on a steady retrieve and side-to-side darting action when twitched or jerked. The ZAGGER 65SP is a suspending model measuring 6.5 cm in length and weighing 3.5 g, designed to probe depths of 1–2 m. Its silent design and natural size, which is well suited to low-activity fish, make it effective for targeting fish in the mid-range.
It supports a wide range of retrieves, from steady winding to twitching and jerking. In addition to maintaining a consistent depth on a continuous retrieve, it is also suited to presentations that combine rod-induced darting action with pauses. The ZAGGER 110SF features a larger 110 mm body and a slow-floating setting, allowing anglers to target depths of up to 2 m. Since the 65SP and 110SF differ in body size and buoyancy, they can be selected according to the size of the baitfish and the target depth. The 65SP is equipped with VANFOOK DT-45S #10 treble hooks.
