Valley Hill Sinker

Valleyhill’s TG SINKER series is designed to take advantage of the high specific gravity of tungsten alloy, prioritizing fast sink rates and sensitivity for detecting the bottom and bites. The “TG SINKER 18 CAROLINA,” designed for Carolina rigs, features a shape that helps reduce snags while making it easier to read bottom conditions, and its high-hardness material is fitted with a tube where the line passes through. With a specific gravity of 18, it delivers a similar feel with a weight one size lighter than lead, making it suitable for low-profile setups.

The slender “TG SINKER 18 SLIPPERY” slips easily through cover and can be used for light Carolina rigs with a stopper bead and swivel, as well as Texas rigs and drop-shot rigs. When snagged, its center of gravity shifts rearward with the line as a fulcrum, allowing the front section to lift more easily; it also features a tube that helps reduce line wear and prevent the sinker from wedging between rocks. The “TG SINKER STABLE” combines a low center of gravity, a special shape, and a 15 mm-long tube to maintain the proper posture during swimming and falling while helping avoid snags. Cutting the tube allows it to be used for free rigs as well. For drop-shot applications, the lineup includes the teardrop-shaped “TG SINKER 18 DROP SHOT,” which sinks quickly and slips easily through cover, and the slim “TG SINKER 18 DROP SHOT SLIM,” developed for long-distance casting with heavy Carolina rigs.
