BASSDAY’s TONO is a compact noisy plug designed to create a highly visible action while churning through the surface, centered around the ease of simply casting and retrieving. Measuring 40 mm in length and weighing 10.0 g, its body features a wide-wobbling action and swims across the surface with a splashing motion during a steady retrieve. Despite its compact size, it maintains sufficient weight, making it easy to produce its basic action with a consistent retrieve after casting. It is equipped internally with MZ-19.

Its basic presentation is a steady retrieve, but rod manipulation can also produce a frog-like hopping action and a side-to-side walking motion. In addition to covering a wide area with a consistent retrieve, varying the action with short rod movements and pauses around cover or areas with changes in the water’s surface is also possible. It features barbless #4 hooks and #3/#2 split rings. Taking advantage of its surface action and ease of control, this model is suited to topwater bass fishing, from retrieve-based presentations to rod-work techniques.
