Hideup Coike Thunder

HIDEUP’s Coike Thunder is a soft lure designed to create complex, seductive action by intentionally curving the hair-like appendages that are a signature feature of the Coike series. It is made from a worm material formulated to be firmer than standard soft plastics, allowing it to be rigged with an offset hook—something that is difficult to achieve with elastomer material. It is easy to use for pitching into cover and can be rigged both normally and upside down. It also supports a wacky rig with a small finesse hook, allowing you to create an enticing presentation that takes advantage of the appendages’ undulating action according to the rig and retrieve technique.

Available sizes include the 17mm Coike Thunder M, the Coike Thunder M Elastomer with a 50mm body, and the Coike Thunder L and Coike Thunder L Elastomer with 60mm bodies. The M is designed to be easy to use with both spinning and baitcasting tackle and is compatible with a wide range of rigs. The L can be used with Texas rigs, free rigs, jigheads, and weightless offset rigs, as well as the Moriken Rig when fished in a wacky style. The elastomer models can be used differently from the worm-material models; for offset rigging, the M is generally used with #2/0 to #3/0 hooks, while the L is suited to #3/0 to #4/0 hooks.
