Hideup HU-Minnow

HIDEUP’s HU Minnow 111SP is a hard-thumping suspending minnow developed for tough conditions—such as strong winds, muddy water, and low water temperatures—when it is important to clearly communicate the lure’s presence. The body measures 111 mm in length and weighs approximately 17 g. It features a magnetic weight-transfer system for improved casting distance. Tuned to suspend in a horizontal posture, it imitates a small baitfish trying to escape upward when the action is paused, while minimizing excessive diving and making it easier to keep the lure running at a consistent depth.

Its defining feature is a slotted body that displaces plenty of water and transmits a strong sense of action to the angler. It produces a powerful swimming action during fast retrieves, while twitching and jerking make it swing its head widely. The stress-free design also helps prevent line tangles even during aggressive rod work. It is suited to a stop-and-go retrieve with a three-second pause after four handle turns, allowing anglers to vary retrieves, twitches, and jerks according to the conditions. The diving depth is 1.5–2 m, and the standard hook size is #6 front and rear. A fast-action 6–6'10" M to MH baitcasting rod and 12–14 lb fluorocarbon line are recommended.
