Berkeley Max Scent

Berkley PowerBait MaxScent is a series of soft plastics that makes use of scented and flavored material, with each model offering different presentations through its body shape and tail design, primarily in straight worm profiles. The material is infused with a formula, and the bodies are further soaked and aged to pursue properties that help keep fish biting. The Hit Worm 4.5-inch features a tapered profile from the body to the tail, with the rear tail catching water to generate a natural action. It can be used with neko rigs and drop-shot rigs, as well as leaderless drop-shot and Carolina rigs.

The D-Worm 3.6-inch features a slim, soft body designed for easy inhalation, while the head section provides space for setting a neko rig sinker. The thicker rear section moves at a different timing than the head, allowing presentations with neko rigs, drop-shot rigs, and offset setups. The C.O. Tan 3.5-inch features a flat profile with a thick tail. It minimizes movement when stationary, yet produces an instantaneous water-pushing action when worked with the rod. In addition to weightless presentations, it supports spiral falls with a nail sinker or weighted hook, a rolling action during slow retrieves, and a surface presentation when pulled along with the line. It also features slots that make it easier to conceal the hook point.
