Berkeley Gulp! Alive!

Berkley’s Gulp! ALIVE! Bulky Hawg 3" is designed to combine the profile of a hog-style soft bait with Gulp!’s proprietary attractant. Gulp! is made from a water-based polymer infused with proprietary ingredients and is designed to disperse scent compounds underwater, unlike conventional soft plastics. ALIVE! stores the bait submerged in attractant liquid, allowing its effectiveness to be recharged by returning the bait to the container after use.

The bulky hog profile is well suited to presentations around cover and along the bottom, and can be used on a Texas rig, as a trailer for a rubber jig, or weightless. On the water, it can be worked by dragging it along the bottom, moving it with a lift-and-fall retrieve, or enticing fish with pauses near cover. ALIVE! Powder can be used to add a fish-like slime coating to the surface of the bait; underwater, the powder dissolves and creates a sticky texture. If the liquid level drops, it can be replenished with Recharge Juice, but it is important to store the bait after use with the entire bait submerged in the liquid.
