Berkley Trilene Z is a nylon line developed entirely in Japan, designed to combine high sensitivity through ultra-low stretch with strength and durability. By minimizing line stretch, it more readily transmits underwater conditions and subtle bites to the angler, supporting setups that prioritize control and feel.
Featuring high levels of tensile strength and knot strength, along with excellent abrasion resistance, it is intended for situations where the line is subject to increased stress, such as fishing around structure. While retaining the ease of handling characteristic of nylon line, its low-stretch design enables more direct lure control and quicker responses to bites. The 150 m models feature markings at 75 m intervals, making it easier to reduce waste when replacing line. The 10–20 lb models are available in 150 m spools, while the 25–30 lb models come in 75 m spools, with spool length varying according to strength class.
