Nories Tani Frog

NORIES TANNY FROG is a soft frog designed to balance maneuverability around cover, hooking performance, and skipping ability. Its soft elastomer body and deep belly slit make it easy to tuck the hook point into the body, allowing approaches that slide the lure deep into cover. The belly ribs grip the water and reduce forward movement, making it easy to work the lure in one spot, while their depth is carefully set so they do not interfere with the side-to-side action.

With rod manipulation, the TANNY FROG can be worked with a tight walking action along the edge of cover or in pockets, while the water-gripping effect of the ribs allows for presentations that minimize forward movement. The rear rubber skirt quivers underwater, adding a lifelike quality to the body’s action. The body measures 2 inches, and the standard hook size is a 2/0 to 3/0 offset hook. Setting the hook in line with the belly slit helps maintain the lure’s posture when skipping while providing a setup designed for easy handling around cover and a smooth transition to the hookset.
