NORIES CRYSTAL TRAILER is a soft bait designed as a trailer to enhance the appeal of wire baits. Its unique vibration accentuates the visibility of the wire bait and is intended to encourage strikes toward the hook. It easily adds presence when paired with a wire bait, making it suitable for situations where stronger lure appeal is desired, such as rainy days or during turnover, when the water tends to become more stained than usual.
The basic method is to rig it as a trailer on a wire bait, then retrieve it with a slow roll so it does not become buried in the weeds, or work it slowly along the edges of reeds without allowing it to contact the bottom. Its distinguishing feature is that, rather than simply adding bulk as a trailer, it uses the vibration generated by the body to enhance the presence of the wire bait. Measuring 95 mm, or approximately 3-2/3 inches, it is suited to setups that add visibility and vibration-based appeal without significantly changing the wire bait’s action or running depth.
