NORIES CLIONEX is a soft bait developed to enable “Tsuru-Stroking”—suspending a bait around cover and enticing fish with a jighead rig—despite its compact size. Its 2-inch (46 mm) body features two arms extending to either side and is made from elastomer material.
When shaken, it rolls its body while dancing randomly in all directions, creating a 3D action that churns the water with both arms. Its intense movement, generated by a compact body, attracts fish across a wide area. The elastomer material accentuates the arms’ lifelike vibrations while also providing the durability required for pitching into cover. The basic setup is a jighead, with a #1 hook recommended. In addition to suspending it around cover and shaking it, the CLIONEX can also be used with a weightless rig for insect-style surface action and with a drop-shot rig that takes advantage of the buoyancy of the elastomer material.
