Nories Tac Jig

NORIES’ TAC JIG is a full-size rubber jig developed to quickly cover large areas while smoothly working its way deep into cover. Pair it with trailers such as the Escape Twin or Front Flapper Curly, and target the deepest parts of cover with pitching or skipping. Around wood cover, it also performs well with a jig-and-swim retrieve after casting.

The head features an original design with two streamlined contours, with a shape and center-of-gravity balance that help it avoid hitting obstacles too aggressively and smoothly climb over them after contact. The brush guard rises at a relatively low angle from the head, providing effective snag resistance while keeping stiffness to a minimum. The skirt is tuned to balance fall speed, swimming stability, and overall silhouette, allowing it to make the most of the trailer’s action during the fall and retrieve. The hook is a custom RYUGI hook developed to professional angler Takumi Ito’s exacting specifications, with a TC coating for improved penetration.

Hook sizes are available in #3/0 and #2/0. The #3/0 is designed primarily for use with the Escape Twin and also accommodates the larger Escape Flag Twin Magnum. The #2/0 is suited to a more compact setup paired with smaller trailers such as the Escape Flag Twin or 3" Rock Claw. Weights are available in 3/16 oz, 1/4 oz, and 3/8 oz for the #2/0, and 1/4 oz, 3/8 oz, and 1/2 oz for the #3/0.
