NORIES HULACHAT S is a blade jig designed to maximize the distinctive sound appeal of the HULACHAT series. The “S” in the model name stands for “Sound.” When the ultra-thin, high-pitch blade contacts the stainless-steel blade hitter, it produces the characteristic striking sound of a chatter-style lure. Compared with the previous model, the hook has been upsized to make it easier to pair with large trailers while also improving hook-setting performance.
Its head balance, reminiscent of a crankbait lip, helps prevent the lure from rising during the retrieve, allowing you to control its running depth while maintaining a horizontal posture. It offers the same level of depth control and cover-deflection performance as a swim jig, while the original-cut skirt and high-pitch blade produce an action that responds to retrieve speed. In addition to retrieving at a consistent mid-water depth or near the bottom, it is also suited to lift-and-fall techniques worked with the rod and curved falls after contacting the bottom.
The trailer is securely held by four specialized monofilament keepers, and the design makes it easy to rig larger soft plastics. The shortened rear skirt helps the front skirt flare, creating a substantial profile while reducing retrieve resistance. It is available in 10 g, 14 g, and 18 g weights.
