NORIES LAYDOWN MINNOW is a minnow-style hard bait designed to generate a stronger appeal than slim minnow lures by combining a high-buoyancy, thick-bodied design with a fixed-weight structure that preserves an air chamber. On a straight retrieve, it produces a wobbling action accompanied by rolling, while twitches and jerks make it dart widely from side to side. Pausing between movements creates the “moment” that allows bass to catch up. In addition to choosing between the Regular and Just Wakasagi models to match the size of the forage, the lineup also includes wake-style models for surface presentations and the LAYDOWN MINNOW MID 110 for probing the mid-range.

The LAYDOWN MINNOW WAKE 110 PROP is a topwater model that combines a minnow-shaped body with a prop, attracting fish across the surface with a wake and the subtle vibrations of the prop. The related WAKE PROP PLUS adds the subtle vibrations of an original NORIES prop to a rolling-dominant action that parts the surface, while featuring a wide square lip for quick action startup and low-speed performance, as well as a raised prop mount for enhanced splash performance. Around cover, it can be worked with twitch-and-float techniques incorporating pauses; in weed areas, shallow flats, and around inlets, it can be used with a straight retrieve. The LAYDOWN MINNOW MID 110 features the wobbling and rolling action of a highly buoyant body, short-bill-style darting, and a mid-range running depth of approximately 1 m, with different buoyancy settings available in F, SP, and HF versions. The 110HF is designed to produce sharp responsiveness and strong surface disturbance through dedicated weight tuning and a low-density ABS material.
