Deps Giragira Kougeki

Deps’ GIRAGIRA KOUGEKI is an ultra-large giant bait developed for targeting large fish-eating predators. Its approximately 300 mm, high-mass flat-side body produces intense flash and water displacement, conveying the lure’s presence even to fish positioned outside the strike zone. It is a 370 mm overall length (295 mm body), 330 g floating model.

The joint positioned toward the rear generates wide lateral darting and slalom action. With a slide width so wide that the lure can move out of the fish’s field of vision, it is designed to trigger the predatory instincts of following fish. An eye screw is used at the joint, allowing for tuning by adjusting the joint angle. The tail features a firm elastomer tail that pushes water while following the lure’s action. If it becomes damaged or detached, it can be replaced by inserting it into the recessed hole in the body.

Swivels are used on the hook hangers to improve responsiveness during the fight. The lure features three hooks, with #3/0 hooks and #6 split rings. The included wire guard can be attached and removed with a single touch, helping prevent snags when tracing tightly around cover such as standing timber and laydowns. The setup can be adjusted according to the location and presentation, such as removing the wire guard when fishing open areas.
