Deps Frilled SHAD

deps’ FRILLED SHAD is a shad-shaped soft bait featuring a fan-shaped “Frilled Lip” on the top of the head. The lip sheds water flow to produce an action resembling a baitfish swimming with a trembling motion. As the lip engages, it generates a rolling action that rocks the body from side to side, along with a flashing effect. Simply rig it on a jighead and retrieve it steadily to create a mid-strolling-style rolling action.

Its mold is inspired by streamlined baitfish such as wakasagi smelt and moroko, with separately fitted realistic eyes and a tail that flickers in response to the action. The low-density soft material is suited to steady retrieves as a jighead trailer and light mid-strolling, while the Frilled Lip also functions as a brake when Hover Strolling to keep travel distance to a minimum. When used with a jighead, the hook point is easily concealed by the lip, which also serves as a simple guard.
