Deps Bullslide

deps BULLSLIDE is a standard backslide worm developed with ease of use as a priority. Its high-density material and forward-weighted balance provide excellent castability for placing the bait accurately, along with a backslide action that moves backward at a moderate angle. The flat, wide body helps slow the fall while making bites easier to detect, while its simple silhouette is designed to slip through cover more easily and reduce the likelihood of getting snagged.

The core body uses a high-density material containing a combined 75% glass sand and salt, while the exterior is made from an ultra-soft material with no salt content. This outer material offers high tensile strength, helping prevent damage to the appendages caused by bites or contact with cover, as well as reducing loss of holding power around the hook-setting area. The segmented tail and arms function as stabilizers to keep the backslide action steady; the tail flutters while the arms produce subtle, rapid vibrations. Crustacean ingredients are also blended into the body.

The basic technique is to cast into the back of cover or structure that creates shade, let the bait fall, and if there is no response, snap it upward and let it fall again, repeating the process. Around vertical structure, it can also be used to search different depths. The BULLSLIDE measures 3.4 inches, weighs 13.0 g, and is recommended for use with #4/0–5/0 hooks.
