Deps Matsu Buzz

deps’ MATSU BUZZ is a buzzbait designed to generate intense vibration and a powerful squeaking sound through the eccentric movement of its asymmetrical propeller. The propeller features a structure with a large contact area between the wire and rivet, producing friction noise. Repeated casting creates a worn-in contact surface that intensifies the squeak, but if you want to produce the sound from the early stages, you can also sharply bend forward the flap at the rear of the propeller where it contacts the rivet.

The included weight seals can be attached to the underside of the tip on the larger side of the blade. When installed, they increase the eccentricity, creating a powerful setting that generates torque-driven movement, water displacement, and a strong wake that shakes the head and skirt. When you want to reduce the level of attraction or achieve a faster startup, use the buzzbait without attaching the seals. Right- and left-rotating propellers can be selected, allowing you to choose the rotation direction when tracing along structure. The 1.6 mm-diameter arm is balanced to maintain straight tracking while minimizing rolling onto its side, and the rear-weighted head design is engineered with casting distance in mind. The skirt, cut shorter on the head side, moves irregularly as the bait’s posture changes with its eccentric movement. The head weighs 1/2 oz and is equipped with a heavy-wire, wide-gap #4/0 hook designed for fighting big bass.
