deps ASSIST KEEPER is a custom part designed to securely hold trailers when using full casts, making cover contact, or fishing reaction jigs—situations that can place considerable stress on the trailer. It helps secure trailers on rubber jigs and spinnerbaits and is designed to reduce trailer slippage and loss during repeated casting and contact with cover.
To use it, set the ASSIST KEEPER in the groove that secures the lure’s skirt, then insert its tip into the trailer to hold it in place. It is available in two sizes, S and M; choose the appropriate size according to the head size and shape of the lure being fitted. The M size is compatible with the Hyper Football Jig, Head Rock Jig, Prop Jig, Tiny Prop, B Custom, and Mini Bros, while the S size is compatible with the Hyper Football Jig, Head Rock Jig, Super Head Rock Jig, Flat Back Jig, Sliding Jig, Mad Waver, and Long Nose Waver. Because the tip is sharp, using pliers during installation is recommended. According to the official page, production ended on April 1, 2022.
