deps’ BUMBLE SHAD is a swimbait featuring a “bottle-neck form” that suppresses the rolling motion generated by the tail at the narrow waist in the center of the body, converting it into a wobbling action. While transmitting the tail action throughout the entire body, it also incorporates a deep hook slot designed for use with an offset hook, balancing swimming posture and hook-setting performance. The 6-inch model features a two-layer construction, with a high-specific-gravity, soft material containing 30% salt on the belly and a non-salt material retaining greater firmness on the back. This design lowers the center of gravity for a stable swimming posture and a distinctive swimming response. The 4-inch model uses non-salt material throughout both the top and bottom of the body.

When rigging the hook, insert it slightly from the underside of the lure’s head and bring it through upward to achieve the ideal swimming posture. Offset hooks in sizes #5/0 to #4/0 are recommended for the 4-inch model, and #7/0 to #6/0 for the 6-inch model. However, dimensions vary by hook manufacturer, so the appropriate size must be selected to match the worm’s size and shape. The body’s narrow waist converts the tail movement into a wobbling action, making it suitable for swimming presentations such as a steady retrieve, where the lure attracts fish by shaking its body as it moves.
