Deps Buzzjet

deps’ BUZZJET is a 96 mm, 30 g plug developed to draw bass out by sending turbulent water not only across the surface, but also below it, rather than relying solely on a wake. Its distinctive Spike Clip grips the water securely and responds immediately, swimming as soon as the retrieve begins. Water caught at the tip of the Spike Clip creates a powerful swirling current that travels beneath the surface, allowing the lure to attract bass even in choppy conditions where its wake is less noticeable.

The rear of the body is equipped with a stainless-steel deps Prop, meticulously designed in terms of material, wall thickness, shape, and mounting position. Its center-offset axle produces a non-monotonous rotation, while random contact with the rear hook generates a metallic “kasha-kasha” sound. Flash and spray produced during rotation add further stimuli for following bass. In addition, when the lure crosses waves, the internal Variable Balancer shifts, creating an irregular action and a resonant “gyoro-gyoro” bumpy sound. The BUZZJET is designed to be fished primarily with a steady retrieve, while also allowing anglers to use waves and changes in the water surface to trigger strikes. The standard hooks are #2 front and rear, with #3 split rings.
