deps DEATHADDER is a soft bait featuring a wide body that stylizes a baitfish and a sharply tapered tail, producing a tight vibration as it moves through the water. The textured body surface holds water, while the ultra-soft material with a 25% salt content provides castability and a natural falling action even when rigged weightless. It is available in 8-, 6-, 5-, 4-, and 3-inch sizes, with low-specific-gravity, non-salt versions also offered in 6-, 5-, and 4-inch sizes. The non-salt versions are designed to concentrate the center of gravity toward the jighead, making it easier to produce a rolling action and horizontal posture when mid-strolling. Their buoyancy when used alone also allows for live bait rigs fished on the surface. The 3-inch model contains crustacean ingredients favored by predatory fish. When rigged horizontally on an offset hook, it produces a dead-slow fall and darting action when fished weightless, as well as water displacement when bottom-bouncing on a jighead or rubber jig. When rigged vertically, it creates a falling action accompanied by a wobble. Its versatility is another key feature, allowing its action to be varied according to the rig and presentation, including jigheads, Texas rigs, wacky rigs, drop shots, and use as a trailer for rubber jigs or spinnerbaits.
