Decoy Switch Head Heavy

DECOY Switch Head Heavy is a heavy-weight version of the Switch Head, designed for use in deep water and fast-flowing areas. This slide-pin sinker allows you to create a jointed rig by attaching your preferred offset hook. By reversing the delta-shaped football-style head from front to back, you can switch between different characteristics. Depending on the head orientation, it can be used in snagless mode for easier passage through cover or stack mode, which limits forward movement and makes it easier to work a specific spot.

The gun-black finish blends naturally with worm colors and minimizes an unnatural appearance, while the sinker is made from a highly sensitive hard lead alloy. The DS-13H is available in 18 g, 21 g, 28 g, and 36 g sizes, and uses an L-size switch pin with a 1.0 mm wire diameter. The pin size differs from that of the lighter DS-13 model, so the two are not compatible; however, within the DS-13H series, the switch pin can be used with the available weights. The sinker is compatible with offset hooks. As a reference, a #1/0 or larger hook is recommended for the “Worm17 Kilo Hook,” but hooks with small eyes may restrict movement or may not be installable.
