DECOY’s Switch Head is a jointed sinker that lets you switch between a snagless setup designed to slip through cover and a setup that minimizes forward movement and makes it easier to stop the rig on the bottom simply by reversing the head’s orientation. It features a delta-shaped football-style head combined with a sliding pin. By removing the pin and reversing the head front to back, you can choose between Snagless Mode and Stacking Mode.
Attach your preferred offset hook with the sliding pin to use it as a jointed rig in which the worm and sinker move independently. With the head oriented for easier forward clearance, it is suited to presentations focused on slipping through cover. Reversing the head provides a presentation that limits movement along the bottom. The gun-black finish blends easily with a variety of worm colors and helps minimize an unnatural appearance. Lead alloy is used as a sensitive hard material. The DS-13 is available in 3.5 g, 5 g, 7 g, 9 g, 11 g, and 14 g, and comes with an M-size Switch Pin (0.8 mm wire diameter). The DS-13H, available from 18 g to 36 g, is the heavy-weight model and comes with an L-size Switch Pin (1.0 mm wire diameter). Hook compatibility and range of movement vary depending on the eye diameter and shape, so check the appropriate size before setting up.
