KATSUICHI’s DECOY Sinker Type Nail is a nail sinker designed to add weight while embedded in a soft bait, allowing you to fine-tune its swimming balance and fall rate. It is ideal for neko rigs with straight worms, as well as situations where you want to precisely adjust the posture and sinking speed of shad tails and swimbaits.
The sinker features an easy-to-insert, secure pyramidal shape that helps reduce the risk of slipping out during casting. Made from high-density, high-purity lead, it can be easily inserted into soft baits and bent by hand to adjust its shape. In addition, cutting along the grooves on the body with nippers or similar tools allows weight adjustments in approximately 0.2–0.3 g increments. Available sizes are 0.4 g, 0.6 g, 0.9 g, 1.2 g, 1.5 g, and 1.8 g, enabling you to choose according to the desired fall rate, the buoyancy of the soft bait, and the required posture adjustment. In addition to being embedded in the soft bait, it can also be used to add weight after the rig has been assembled, making it easy to fine-tune the setup.
