DECOY’s NK Hook is a worm hook developed to combine a neko rig with an offset setup for improved snag resistance. While preserving the natural action and ease of use of a neko rig, its hook shape is designed for use around cover and vegetation.
It features an adjustable tube barb that helps prevent the worm from slipping, securely holding the worm while providing a feel similar to that of a standard offset hook. It accommodates setups with the hook point embedded in the worm, making it easier to navigate around obstacles, while allowing the hook point to be exposed for hook-setting when necessary. In addition to neko rigs, it can also be used in offset-style setups depending on the worm’s shape and rigging method.
If line twist caused by rotation during pickup is a concern, the included swivel can be attached for use. Available in sizes #5, #3, and #1, it can be selected according to the worm’s volume and the desired amount of hook-point exposure.
