Decoy’s NAMAZU Leader WL-05 is a wire leader designed to reduce line tangles that commonly occur when using noisy-style lures, as well as to help prevent the line from wrapping around the fish during landing and protect against abrasion around cover. It is made with supple, kink-resistant 3×7 nylon-coated wire in #43 diameter. The lure connection features a W Snap designed for both strength and ease of use.
Available in three lengths—5 cm, 10 cm, and 15 cm—the NAMAZU Leader allows you to select the appropriate length for the lure and cover conditions. The snap sizes are #2 for the 5 cm model, #3 for the 10 cm model, and #4 for the 15 cm model, with each matched to its respective length. Installed between the main line and the lure, it helps reduce line tangles around the lure while minimizing problems when approaching cover and landing fish. Since the snap size and quantity per package vary by length, you can choose the model best suited to your lure and fishing conditions.
