DECOY’s KotsuKotsu-Kun DS-1 is a standard round-type down sinker designed for detecting the bottom with a drop-shot rig. Equipped with a line clip, it can be attached instantly by simply pinching the line in place, allowing smooth rig adjustments and sinker changes.
Its swivel-free design helps reduce interference with the bottom and cover, making it easier to detect changes transmitted through the sinker. Made from a hard material, it allows you to feel the hardness and contours of the bottom while working the rig. Its density is set slightly lower than that of standard sinkers, helping to slow the fall and respond to bites that occur as the sinker and worm descend together. Weights are available to match the worm, water depth, and current, from finesse fishing with lightweight rigs to heavy drop-shot techniques using heavier sinkers. It is ideal for attaching a leader to the line clip and adjusting the distance below the hook to probe the bottom.
