Decoy Trailer Hook

DECOY’s Trailer Hook is an additional hook designed to convert short bites on wire baits into solid hooksets, with particular attention to trailer hook orientation and snag resistance. The Trailer Hook Chaser TH-1 features a unique oval eye with a minimized lateral tilt angle, helping stabilize the hook’s orientation during the retrieve while enhancing its weedless performance. The straight point is designed to catch short bites easily, while the flattened round bend helps keep hooked fish pinned. Attach it to wire baits such as spinnerbaits and buzzbaits, and secure the hook in position with the included rubber stopper.

The Trailer Hook Chaser II TH-2 inherits the basic design of the TH-1 while incorporating an i-Guard stopper. The i-Guard expands the range of possible rigging methods, allowing the trailer hook to be used not only with wire baits but also in combination with various lures and techniques. To rig it, pass the eye of the trailer hook over the main hook, then slide the stopper into position to secure it. Both the TH-1 and TH-2 feature an oval eye, straight point, and round bend to support solid hooksets on wire baits, while the TH-2 is designed with an emphasis on ease of rigging and versatility through its i-Guard.
