DECOY Snaps are a series of snaps designed around the impact that the connection between the lure and terminal tackle has on action and handling. Each model is suited to different applications based on its shape, strength, and replacement method. The Round Snap SN-1 features a round-bent shape that makes it easy to attach to a range of lure eyes, from 8-pin eyes and screw eyes to deep eyes. Its design helps reduce turbulent water flow and contact loss while minimizing interference with the lure’s action. It also uses a new material with high elasticity and low susceptibility to metal fatigue. The V Snap SN-2 features DECOY’s original V-shaped design, concentrating the contact point with the lure eye at a single point to help transmit angler input during twitches and jerks. The Egg Snap SN-3 is a round snap with a cross-lock structure, offering a shape that is unlikely to impair lure action along with ample strength.

For applications where strength is the priority, choose the EX Snap SN-14. High-hardness SUS wire is formed into a V shape, and its wrapped end construction and slide-lock system allow the entire snap to expand and contract when excessive force is applied, helping prevent pullout and breakage. The Split Snap SN-13 is a connection item with a ring on one side and a snap on the other, keeping the connection compact while also allowing hooks, sinkers, and other components to be replaced. Choose the model according to the shape of the lure eye, the intended action, the required strength, and the preferred replacement method.
