TIEMCO’s Fat Pepper is a floating crankbait developed for targeting mid-range depths of around 3 meters. It is designed to let anglers perform the fundamentals of cranking—casting, retrieving, contacting cover, deflecting off obstacles, and triggering strikes—continuously and without stress. The body design takes into account its flight posture and air resistance, providing excellent casting distance for a crankbait. After the cast, it reaches the targeted depth smoothly. It also maintains a consistent running depth easily, allowing the lure to remain in the strike zone longer as it passes through.

Its action is centered on a sharp rolling vibration, with tuning that makes it easy to retrieve at a steady speed while sensing the lure’s resistance. The lip also provides excellent obstacle deflection, supporting techniques such as making the lure rise after contacting the bottom or cover, and changing its direction just before an obstacle. The primary approach is to let the lure dive to the desired range after casting, then retrieve it steadily while keeping the target depth in mind.
