Daiwa Steez QUAD Phose

DAIWA’s STEEZ QUAD PHOSE is a forage-oriented elastomer worm that enables presentations tailored to conditions and fish response through four different configurations. Ribs positioned as deeply as possible within the limits of molding grip and push water, while the Cross Leaf Tail moves responsively and nimbly during the fall and with rod manipulation. The strong water displacement generated by the elastomer material is another key feature. Length: 51 mm. Quantity: 1 per pack.

As packaged, it is in High Appeal Mode, making it suitable for muddy water or situations where you want to attract fish with a strong presence. Cutting off the side tails changes it to Normal Mode, in which the ribs, rubber, and Cross Leaf Tail each produce different actions and water displacement. The primary technique is swimming on a drop-shot rig, with STEEZ Worm Hook WKY #3–#4 recommended for either configuration.

In Shrimp Mode, created by cutting the side legs and body in half, it supports presentations intended to imitate shrimp. Insert a nail sinker weighing approximately 0.2–0.3 g at the base of the tail. The standard presentation is an escape action produced by high-speed twitches, with STEEZ Worm Hook FFN #4–#5 recommended. Half-Cut Mode, created by cutting the body in half, is suited to swimming on a short-leader drop-shot rig or stationary shaking with a Moriken rig.
