Daiwa Steez Finesse Straight

DAIWA’s STEEZ FINESSE STRAIGHT is a straight-tail worm developed under the supervision of Naoki Yamashita to draw bites in tough conditions, when fish are present but reluctant to bite. While the STEEZ NEKO STRAIGHT is designed to attract fish with water displacement from its deep ribs, this model features a slim body and a more subtle action focused on getting fish to commit. It is easy to choose when a low-profile approach is preferred, depending on the fish’s condition and water clarity.

Made from PVC, the worm measures 4.3 inches. It features hook-set assist markers that indicate the appropriate hook positions for neko rigs and wacky rigs. For neko rigs, the elongated marker section serves as a guide for hook placement and tube installation. For wacky rigs, the round marker indicates the position that produces the best action and can be used for weightless wacky and jighead wacky rigs. It also features a nail-sinker hole that makes it easy to insert a nail sinker straight, allowing the bait to fall in a straight line from the point of entry. This makes it well suited to neko rigs for precisely targeting vertical cover.
