Daiwa Move HOG

DAIWA’s MOVE HOG combines an enticing action produced by its deep, reverse-ribbed body with traditionally shaped claws that preserve the natural movement of a hog-style bait. Inherited from the MOVE BAIT series, the deep reverse ribs catch water and create a complex action, continuing to attract fish with lingering movement even after the retrieve is paused. The ribs collapse easily when a fish bites, helping facilitate solid hooksets.

The body is made of soft PVC and features hook-setting slits on both the belly and back. The back protrusions are shaped to make it easier to adjust the position of the exit hole when rigging BH JIG series lures. Reinforced material around the offset hook’s bend also helps reduce tearing. It pairs well with free rigs and jig-and-swim techniques, and can be used for bottom movement, pauses, and actions created through rod manipulation. The 2.3-inch model is intended for use with all weights of the BH MINI JIG, while the 3.3-inch model is designed to pair with the 6 g and 8 g sizes of the BH MULTI JIG and BH COVER JIG. The 2.3-inch model offers a smaller profile, while the 3.3-inch model provides a more substantial presence.
