DAIWA’s STEEZ IGLA is a spinnerbait developed for tackling tough fishing conditions, featuring a compact body and a single blade. Its shape helps reduce air resistance compared with standard spinnerbaits, easing the load during casting, while the tapered wire generates vibration during the retrieve. The wire is designed to be thinner near the blade and thicker toward the head, combining action with wire durability. The head is also shaped to help maintain a stable swimming posture.
The Leaf Type features a leaf blade with enough response to rotate even on a curved fall, making it suitable for efficiently covering water with a smooth retrieve feel. In addition to steady-speed retrieves, the blade’s rotation can be utilized when working the lure with intermittent falls. The Indiana Type is equipped with custom Indiana blades whose shapes are adjusted for each weight, generating strong vibration from its compact body. It uses a large hook with a SaqSas finish, with the shank length and gap width carefully balanced. The material is resin tungsten, and it is available in 3/16 oz and 1/4 oz.
