Daiwa Steez Bramo

DAIWA’s STEEZ BRAMO is a high-specific-gravity, weightless worm developed as a last-resort weapon for coaxing fish out of increasingly tough conditions. Its PVC body, heavily loaded with salt, is designed with a rear-weighted center of gravity to ensure long casting distance while maintaining a horizontal posture and sinking slowly on the fall. The design combines silicone rubber legs with worm-material legs, each producing a different vibration. During the fall, the legs quiver to attract fish.

Designed for use with an offset hook, the head section features added material to help prevent tearing. The body has a slit that makes it easy to set the hook straight, with the manufacturer recommending WOS #2–#1 hooks for the 1.7-inch model and a WOS #5/0 hook for the 2.4-inch model as the best-balanced setups. The 1.7-inch model weighs approximately 3 g, while the 2.4-inch model weighs approximately 10 g, giving each size a different weight and profile. In addition, the 2.4-inch model can produce a backslide action by inserting a 0.9–1.3 g nail sinker toward the tail.
