Daiwa Steez Flex Jig

DAIWA’s STEEZ FLEX JIG is a jointed jig designed with a movable head and hook to improve worm posture and hook-setting performance while allowing smooth passage around cover. The head and hook are connected directly using the C.J.S. (Change Joint System), without a split ring. This design helps the hook stand up after reaching the bottom, keeping the hook point oriented upward. By holding the hook in place and rotating the head, the hook can be attached or removed without using pliers.

With the line eye positioned at the front of the head and a streamlined design without a brush guard or other protrusions, the jig helps reduce snagging and getting stuck. In addition, the head and hook section bend in a crank-shaped configuration, allowing the jig to follow through gaps between obstacles more easily. For the 2024 minor update, the line eye was adjusted to lower the head’s center of gravity. This makes the jig less likely to roll over underwater and better suited for use with large trailer worms. The jig is made of resin tungsten and comes standard with a Buzzer’s Worm Hook SS WOS #1/0 for the 3.5 g and 5 g models, and a #2/0 of the same hook for the 7 g, 10 g, and 14 g models. The hook size is easy to select according to the weight, and the jig supports setups that incorporate both worm and hook changes.
