Daiwa Steez Silent Shad

DAIWA’s STEEZ SILENT SHAD is a shad plug developed for use in tough conditions, centered around a silent design that eliminates even the slightest noise and vibration. Under the supervision of Shuya Akahane, it emphasizes quick action startup through a fixed center of gravity and the ability to handle high-speed retrieves. Its small, slender silhouette is combined with a smooth, streamlined tapered design that minimizes unnecessary protrusions. By reducing air resistance during casting, it achieves stable castability. It is also designed for use with baitcasting tackle and is easy to bring to life from the start of the retrieve.

The lineup includes the 54SP and 60SP, each available in SR and MR versions. The 54SP has a maximum diving depth of approximately 1.0 m for the SR and approximately 2.0 m for the MR, while the 60SP reaches approximately 1.0 m for the SR and approximately 2.0 m for the MR, allowing you to select the model according to the target depth. The standard weight of the 60SP is 6.3 g for the SR and 6.7 g for the MR, and the standard hooks are SAKUSASU hooks #7. Designed primarily for steady-speed retrieves, these models can be worked through different depths by taking advantage of their silent action and quick startup.
