Daiwa Chibifuku

DAIWA’s CHIBI FUKU SHAD 2 is designed as a shad plug for probing rocky and uneven areas, balancing long-casting performance and snag resistance in a compact body. Measuring 40 mm in length and weighing 3.1 g, its small body features a magnetic weight-transfer system. By using all of the weights as weight-transfer weights, it achieves impressive casting distance for its size. The design allows the front weight to move all the way to the rear, maximizing the long-casting performance of its compact body.

The lip is thickened at the tip to help prevent it from wedging into gaps between rocks, while also improving resistance to wear. Its slow-floating setting is designed to balance casting distance and snag resistance. The maximum diving depth is approximately 1.5 m, with a tight action. When the retrieve begins, the weights return to their original position after the lure lands, helping the action start quickly and making it suitable for searching a consistent depth on the retrieve. It comes equipped with size #10 hooks featuring a fluorine-based special plating treatment on the surface for improved penetration.
