DAIWA’s JIG BUDDY is a double-tail worm designed to produce an action that excels as a jig trailer. The thickness, firmness, and shape of the tails have been carefully engineered so they keep moving throughout the fall, all the way to the bait tipping over on the bottom. When rigged on a rubber jig, it is suitable not only for bottom bumping and pitching to cover, but also for swimming through the mid-water column as a jig strore retrieve.

Available in a 3-inch size, it is made from PVC. The two tails catch water and create action, bringing the worm to life from the fall through touchdown and beyond. In addition to use as a rubber jig trailer, it can also be used with a free rig, allowing you to select the rig according to your presentation and target depth. The recommended hook size is WOS #1–2. When rigging it as a jig trailer, thread the body straight onto the hook and align it so the tails move evenly on both sides. This helps bring out a double-tail action that follows the jig’s movement.
