Daiwa Move Bait

DAIWA’s MOVE BAIT is a soft bait designed for bank fishing, utilizing the complex water currents generated by its body, four pairs of claws, and shad tail. The body features specially shaped reverse ribs with deep grooves. The ribs and grooves catch the water to create braking performance and subtle water currents. The concave body with slits makes it easy to conceal the hook point when rigged with an offset hook, while also helping it slip through cover. Made from soft material, the tail moves with minimal force. On a weightless fall, the tail acts as a brake, allowing the bait to descend while the claws vibrate. The tail also produces action during a slow retrieve, with the body, claws, and tail each generating distinct vibrations.

The 2.5-inch model is a downsized version based on the concept of “subtle and fine,” while retaining the complex vibrations of the 3.1-inch model. During the fall, the claws move with finer vibrations, while the tail swings subtly on the retrieve. Recommended hooks are WOS #2 to #1 and SOS #1/0. The 3.1-inch model is centered around the balance of its soft material and reverse-ribbed body, and is suitable for weightless, Texas, and free rigs. Recommended hooks are WOS #1/0 to #2/0. The 4.3-inch model is an upsized version based on the concept of “large and powerful.” Its tail is designed to perform from slow retrieves to fast retrieves, and the recommended hook is WOS #5/0.
