DAIWA’s GUSTNADO is a prop bait that combines a body that suspends on a dead-slow retrieve with a rapidly spinning propeller, adding an appealing element to the natural, straight-track action of an I-shaped lure. It features an ultra-thin propeller designed to spin even when retrieved slowly. The Water-Through Gill structure draws water in through the mouth and expels it through the gills, providing pulling resistance while also helping the lure maintain a horizontal posture during the action. This structure helps compensate for the difficulty of maintaining depth that can occur with low-resistance I-shaped lures.

A metal tubular part is positioned at the tail to maintain distance between the propeller and hook. This helps prevent the propeller from obstructing the hook and addresses interference during hooksets, a common issue with prop baits. When using the lure, first confirm that the propeller is spinning beside your feet, then retrieve it at a dead-slow pace near the surface. The sight-fishing colors are also designed to make it easier to see the lure’s position, a bass following the lure, and the bite itself. The 55S, 72S, and 88S are sinking models measuring 55 mm, 72 mm, and 88 mm, respectively, and are equipped with standard #10 or #8 Saqsas-finished treble hooks. In addition to these sizes, fast-sinking 55FS and 72FS models are also available, allowing you to choose the sinking speed to suit the situation.
