DAIWA’s PEANUT is a crankbait that combines long-casting performance and an enticing swimming action in a compact body, making it easy to search a wide area. Based on a 50 mm body, the lineup includes the surface-oriented SSR, the SR for working shallow water, the DR for slightly deeper ranges, and the DDR, which reaches a maximum diving depth of approximately 2 m. With different diving ranges to choose from, these lures are easy to use as search baits from the bank or in shallow areas, efficiently probing each model’s designated range with a steady retrieve.

The SSR has a maximum diving depth of approximately 0.5 m, the SR approximately 1 m, the DR approximately 1.5 m, and the DDR approximately 2 m, allowing anglers to select the appropriate model based on water depth and target range. With the addition of the DDR to the existing SSR, SR, and DR models, the coverage now extends from shallow water to breaklines slightly farther below the surface. Standard weights are approximately 8.6 g for the SSR, 8.9 g for the SR, 9.2 g for the DR, and 9.5 g for the DDR. Standard hooks are size #6 on the SSR and DDR, and size #8 on the SR and DR.
