DAIWA’s STEEZ APNAS BUG is an insect-style soft bait designed for use as a trailer on the STEEZ Power Finesse Jig and STEEZ Power Finesse Jig TYPE Cover. Made with elastomer material and an ultra-thin reach tail, it is designed to produce a subtle, quivering tail action even in the slightest current. The body is made from elastomer material, reducing tearing while allowing anglers to take advantage of its high buoyancy. When paired with the Power Finesse Jig, its shape is designed to bring out the APNAS BUG’s action without compromising the jig’s horizontal posture or the “spherical theory.” The protrusion on the belly is designed to make rigging easier and neatly shape the body when used as a Power Finesse Jig trailer by threading the hook out through that point. The upper and lower protrusions near the head are designed to conceal the hook point when using an offset hook, allowing for a setup that helps reduce the accumulation of debris. In addition to use as a Power Finesse Jig trailer, it pairs well with drop-shot and free-rig setups, making it suitable for subtle presentations that take advantage of its compact 1.8-inch body.
