Jackall Vital Minnow

JACKALL’s BITAL MINNOW is a soft bait featuring a non-low-center-of-gravity design, with the belly deeply hollowed out to position the center of gravity higher in the body. This makes it intentionally prone to leaning over during mid-strolling, producing a sharp rolling action. The 5-inch model is designed to enhance the sharpness of its darting and escape actions when used weightless or on a nail rig. During a straight retrieve, ribs with varying depths, thicknesses, and widths generate continuous vibrations toward the tail.

It is made from JACKALL’s proprietary S.I.O ELASTOMER. Its distinctive specific gravity and buoyancy balance give it a basic underwater posture ranging from horizontal to head-down, allowing it to respond quickly not only during mid-strolling but also to jerks and retrieves. The laterally oriented fork tail suppresses excessive leaning and stabilizes the swimming posture, while preventing the bait from rolling onto its side during fast retrieves. The thinly designed tail responds even to subtle manipulation, and the tail joint, which combines the rib shapes of each section, helps improve action response while limiting forward travel. The dimple on the rear of the back catches water, supporting stability during mid-strolling and straight tracking during fast retrieves.

It is suitable for mid-strolling with a jig head rig, hover strolling, weightless presentations, and nail rigs, as well as for use as a trailer on bladed jigs and other lures. The 5-inch model features a thick head section that securely holds jig heads and mosquito hooks, along with a body shape that transitions from a thin belly to the rear, making it easier to accommodate the gap of an offset hook. Hook-setting assist lines on the back and belly make it easier to determine the hook position.
