JACKALL TREBLE Type:R is a treble hook designed to improve plug hook-setting performance and reduce the risk of fish coming unbuttoned during the fight. Its round-bend design suits a wide range of plug shapes, while the hook points are designed to drive deeply in the direction they are facing when two or more points penetrate simultaneously. Its ability to penetrate at a wide approach angle is also intended to help reduce pulled-hook injuries when the plug moves violently.

The short-shank design positions the hook points closer to the plug body, helping target hooksets around the mouth. It is also easy to install on plugs with closely spaced hook eyes and is expected to help reduce tangling between the hooks. PRO SPEC METAL, a special blend developed for fishing hooks, offers hardness, break resistance, and resistance to bending, while the surface is treated with a low-friction PTFE Armor coating. The hook also features micro barbs, which reduce penetration resistance during the hookset compared with standard barbs, helping the hook penetrate more deeply. Suitable as a replacement for stock hooks on jerkbaits, crankbaits, and other plugs, with sizes selectable to match the plug’s shape and hook-eye spacing.
