JACKALL’s Ribbing Bunny 3.8″ is a soft lure designed as a trailer for rubber jigs, based on the concept of “Strong yet subtle. The power of ribs.” Its multi-ribbed body displaces water to generate a noticeable vibration, while the ribs on the underside of the tail capture even minute currents, creating a subtle flicker when left on the bottom. The slightly slim tail slips easily through cover and is suitable for both pitching and stroking techniques. By manipulating it softly while maintaining a feel for the rubber jig’s head weight, you can create a jig-stroking action with minimal forward movement. When stitch-rigged, the trailer is less likely to wrap around the hook point during the action or a bite, helping reduce the risk of hindering hooksets. The recommended hook sizes for use as a standalone lure are 1/0–2/0 for SCYTHE and 2/0 for STLAZER. The body uses a formula infused with shrimp powder and shrimp oil, with a matte textured finish that minimizes shine.

The Ribbing Bunny 3.8″ Elastomer is a buoyant model made from a highly durable elastomer material, achieving an even softer material. The opposing forces of the rubber jig sinking and the elastomer floating make it possible to create a swimming action during jig stroking while minimizing forward movement. The super-soft body and the ribs on the underside of the tail produce an enticing, seductive flicker in response to input. Stitch-rigging helps reduce the impact on hooksets caused by the trailer wrapping around the hook, while the elastomer’s durability makes it suitable for targeting heavy cover. To prevent melting, deformation, or color transfer, store the elastomer material so that it does not come into contact with other hard or soft lures.
